Most of our clients are repeat charterers. Not only because they are hooked on houseboating but also because there is simply so much to see and do on the Broadwater. Of course you may choose to never leave your vessel but if you feel the need to stretch your legs then why not venture to some of the following places?

Theme Parks
All of the Gold Coast’s outstanding theme parks are accessible from your houseboat.
You are welcome to leave the houseboat on our jetty for the day while you visit “WARNER BROTHERS MOVIE WORLD”, “WET N WILD” or “DREAMWORLD-HOME OF BIG BROTHER”. All are within ten minutes drive from our marina. |

Resorts & Restaurants
“Couran Cove” South Stradbroke’s well known Eco resort. As a day visitor you are permitted to wonder around the extensive grounds, use the restaurants and bars or simply soak up the sunshine around the pool. Why not hire a bike and explore the numerous riding trails.
“Couran Point-Island Beach Club” Dinghy into Couran and enjoy a tasty smorgasbord lunch or cocktail by the pool at this friendly relaxed island resort.
“McLaren's Landing” on South Stradbroke Island near Shangrila Resort features an enticing menu to give the cook on aboard a break from their galley duties!
“Jacob’s Well Bayside Tavern” Reputed for its fantastic food and friendly atmosphere, you are sure to want to visit this mainland tavern for a change of pace. The small township of Jacob’s Well is worth an afternoon stroll through the cafes and shops. Finish the day with fresh fish and chips on the promenade.
Don’t forget, swimming, bushwalking and simply enjoying a good book costs absolutely nothing! Take time out to indulge yourself in a little daydreaming……
