While operating from the old Coomera Waters site we were actively engaged in not only the hire of houseboats and cruisers but also their construction, it was a true slip/construction operation as well as houseboat and cruiser hire.

As the land we were operating on at the old Coomera Waters site was being made ready for residential development, we relocated our growing fleet across the river to Sanctuary Cove. This move saw the end of our boat building activities and allowed us to concentrate solely on the hire business.

By the late 90's our fleet had again grown substantially it became evident that we had outgrown the Sanctuary Cove facility as well.

In 2001 the Coomera fleet relocated for the last time to our own 25 berth marina as part of the new Gold Coast City Marina just 5 minutes upstream from the old Sanctuary Cove site.

In August 2008, Coomera Houseboats merged with the Gold Coast's 2nd oldest and 2nd largest houseboat holiday company, Broadwater Houseboats and now both companies operate as one from our own purpose built houseboat marina at 84 Shipper Drive Coomera, part of the Gold Coast City Marina, just behind Dreamworld.
