We had a long weekend on Osprey. It’s possibly one of the more basic boats that Coomera have to offer, but it was very comfortable and well kitted out. The staff were all very friendly and the booking process, check in and check out was seamless. The access that these houseboats give to a gem of a wilderness is amazing. What a gem! Pelicans, birds of prey, fish, crabs all in abundance. All within 45 minutes of Brisbane or 25 minutes from the Gold Coast. Give this a go, create lasting memories with your kids, you won’t be disappointed.read more

This was our first time hiring and never driven a houseboat before. We hired the AEGEAN. We highly recommend this place. Okay so here goes. Friendly service from the ladies in the office, you don't need a license to drive the boats (but it would be handy), The briefing that we had by Brett was very informative but I think a video recording of the briefing about how to do things on the boat might even help maybe if it got uploaded to youtube so if at any stage your stuck, you can visually watch it on youtube because even we got a tiny confused even though we read the manuals. The views was amazing and the fishing was great, we even caught some crabs. The boat assisted majority of our needs and had a spa. Now for the little things that could be helpful for others if its your 1st time, if your staying for 4 or more days, then you might want to bring a bucket to handwash your clothes because the aegean doesn't have a washing machine or clothesline either, you could bring an air rack, extra towels or afew more rubbish bags cos if you have a full crew, the boat holds 12 people then that means extra rubbish. Fly spray for the pesky buggys, we sprayed insect repellent on the mesh. If you dont have anything to bail your dingy then cut a 2lt milk container or a plastic bottle. Extra fishing line holders would of been nice too and if for some reason you have people turning up after 5pm there's a number to call security to let them in the gate, above all we had an awesome 5 days for the easter weekend and would do it again. Hope this information is helpful to all who may hire the AEGEAN houseboat.read more

Have completely enjoyed our holiday with a Coomera Houseboat. The "dusk breaker" was our vessel for the week and was spacious and fully equipped. The staff back at base were all friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. You receive a full briefing before leaving dock so that you can be completely comfortable taking off to explore the Gold Coast waters. You do not even need a boat license to enjoy a holiday in these houseboats and there are many sizes and floorplans on offer. We were able to explore areas of South Stradbroke Island we have not been able to access before and the kids labelled the holiday the best one ever. Very affordable rates and thoroughly worth it.read more

Great inductions that took us 3 whole days to sink into our heads between the 7 of us! Very Friendly down to earth staff crew, thank you Brett and Adrian. Immaculate clean huge boat. 4 Bedrooms 3 double beds a queen bed. Calm waters. Plenty of fish and eels! Navagating skills is a must lol. We had a great time on the Colleen Anne, (2 Aduts & 2 Kids) the team at Coomera Houseboats were very friendly & helpful. Only issue was the outboard motor we didn't have for a day as it broke & only got another one next day, which also left us stranded a few times, so not reliable at all. Wouldn't really have had a problem if I didn't pay for it, but we did $100 extra & no some sort of refund wasn't offered. Otherwise loved the experience.read more
Best Houseboats on the Gold Coast by far!
My husband & I recently had a week away with Coomera Houseboats - it was a beautiful relaxing time & would recommend them if you want a holiday away from the usual hustle & bustle - the houseboat was clean & well kept - I give the team a "thumbs up" for customer service, from when we booked, on arrival & then our departure 🙂🤗read more
I had a great time. I hired the houseboat one up, and although some extra diligence was needed, I managed okay. The biggest challenge was getting the anchor up and getting underway with due care and without extra sets of eyes to make sure everything was okay. When I boarded, everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with cutlery and plates etc. The briefing was comprehensive and it was helpful to have navigational charts for finding my way about. There was a large cruising area and I'd certainly like to go again.read more
Coomera Houseboats are beautiful to stay on, fully equipped and very stylish. The staff are excellent, helpful and accommodating. I am a returning costumer and will continue to do so.read more
Safe to say we had a fantastic weekend on the boat celebrating a very special 21st. Coomera houseboats were really helpful from the start, but left us enough freedom to do our own thing, and that was the best part of being on the houseboat. We got to decide when and where we went, and got to wake up with the water on our doorstep. Though we got on best having some boat-experienced crew members, driving the boat was not too much of a challenge and our skills improved far quicker than our beach cricket. Overall this was a fantastic, unique way to celebrate with a great group of people.read more
Had a great time on board the Dusk Beeaker, will be doing this again.

Stayed on the Sapphire Lady for 4 nights and had an absolute ball with the kids. Caught bream and flathead off the back deck, relished in lazy days on the sunbeds up top and took the kids on several adventures on South Straddie Island where they climbed dunes, built sandcastles and pumped yabbies. It was fantastic to be so close to the fishing grounds which was what we really hired the boat for. The boat was comfortable and clean with plenty of room. Loved it and will be back again.read more
