PRICES SET TO RISE JULY 1ST THIS YEAR

Coomera Houseboat Holidays Managing Director Mike Smith today announced that prices across the Coomera Fleet would rise on July 1 this year.

Mr Smith said, “This is the first ‘across the board‘ price rise for the company since the GFC struck us in 2010″. He said that, “It had been a difficult time for the company trying to hold prices for our customers while so many of the company’s expenses had been climbing.”

He said, “Houseboat maintenance was a very expensive, but if Coomera Houseboats were to continue their commitment and tradition of having the most seaworthy, safest and best presented houseboats on the water, then unfortunately this price rise is inevitable.”

Mr Smith urged those thinking of going houseboating in the near future to, “Book before the July 1 increase and lock in a great deal”. He added that, “Even with the upcoming price increase, houseboating was still one of the most affordable and rewarding holidaying experiences anywhere in the world.”
